Setting Hollywood Straight


Not enough people understand the role Hollywood plays in setting the progressive agenda in America, and the real-world impact it has on society. But it is, after all, part of the media. It is where the propaganda of the media captures attention through entertainment. Just as entertainment must be employed for effective messaging for political candidates, it has the same effect for propaganda and indoctrination.

During World War II Hollywood put out numerous "war movies", and movies on Nazi infiltrators and spies. Such movies spurred a period of intense patriotism in America. During that same period and throughout the 50's they filmed countless westerns which added to the nation's sense of strong independence and justice, and religious films like "King of Kings" that helped provide a moral compass based on faith.

Then, as Americans began settling into a period of greater prosperity and comfort, Hollywood began to take a different path - a path that included social engineering geared more to progressivism and away from the values of patriotism, religion and morality. In fact, Mel Gibson had to self-finance "Passion of the Christ" and had all he could do to get theaters to show it. Kevin Sorbo has had the same issues for his films. And have you even noticed that the latest Christmas offerings - both film and music - are more centered around personal gratification rather than the birth of Christ? "Die Hard" is a good action flick, but it should never be considered a "Christmas movie". Yet, it is.

You may be wondering how we can change the direction of Hollywood. It all boils down to one thing - money. Hollywood is all about the Benjamins. Through their wallets we can force them to change.

We begin by collectively - tens of thousands of us - contacting all the movie and TV studios, informing them that we will boycott films that push a progressive agenda of any kind, and by the same token we will pay to buy and watch films that promote traditional American values. Remember - it is OUR money that fuels the film industry. They will only make films they believe they can sell.

Defunding Hollywood to some extent will not stop the progressive propaganda, but it will force studios to put more effort into producing products that will slow the spread of progressivism.

But only if we stand unified in taking them on.
